Well, all but one of my fish have died. When the second to last one died, I decided to screw water temperature concerns and just dumped 2.5 gallons of distilled water in there. So far, the last fish is swimming vigorously and looks healthy. Survival of the fittest, I guess.

If I get Owen a fish I'm going to start with either a beta or a gold fish in a bowl. ;)

Don't sweat it. I killed zillions of fish in my life (really, my sister and both had small tanks and stuff just happens). But my brother sneaking a small lake catfish into one of our tanks who proceeded to eat all our guppies was the worst carnage of all.

That's a funny story about the catfish (although probably not when it happened). If nothing else, I feel loike my brother and I are bonding over the aquarium - he' kept very huge complex aquariums for years.

How are you feeling? How's the little one? I've been thinking a lot about you guys these last few days. Ellie was born at 38 weeks. I've noticed that every time someone I know has a baby, it brings back some of the happy feelings I had about Ellie's birth. Anyway, we are hoping for an uncomplicated labor for both mom and baby (I won't say easy because it's never easy!)
