ste_noniWell, Hurricane Ike is here - sort of. We are just getting the edge of it - gray skies and probably lots of rain later today. It's weird - none of these storms has hit PR directly but we've gotten the edges of all three so far. It looks like the DR and Haiti and getting hit pretty good.
Despite the approaching hurricane, we had an awesome family trip to the beach this morning. The dogs ran around and had a great time rolling in the sand. Ellie and Joe did some surfing with Ellie on Joe's back. Mostly just riding the wave in with Joe prone on the board but they had a ton of fun and Ellie is now exhausted.
