I"m feeling rather pleased with myself today. My goal last week was to transition from working half day five days a week to working full days 2.5 days a week. Of course, I didn't work at all last week so it didn't work out quite the way I thought. (There are a lot of w's in this post so far.)

Anyway, the morning started out great - J and I went running with our little boys and I was actually early to meet her since I had almost everything packed up the night prior. Unfortunately, when I zoomed out of the house with all my bags, I forgot my clothes which were hanging on a hanger. Not good! Kind of hard to get dressed with no actual clothes!

So, I had to shower at home, instead of a J's house, and that added about an hour on to my time before I got to work. So I got here at 10. But my goal was to be here until 3 and it seems like it's going to work out. I'm a bit worried about Frisco. He had not been to the daycare in a week and you could tel when I put him down - lots of crying, huge tears, eyes all red. It made me really sad. When Ellie cries, I know she's fine the second I leave. But I could hear Frisco crying as I walked to my car and it really sucked. A lot.

I'm hoping this new schedule will leave me feeling less stressed. I've just been feeling like I haven't been doing anything very well since I'm always rushing from one place to another. I'm hoping having 1-2 days at home will allow me to stay on top of house stuff AND actually get things like groceries. I'm also a bit anxious because Joe is leaving on Wednesday and will be gone until the 20th.

We had a fabulous weekend. We went to the beach twice on Saturday and Ellie and Joe went surfing - they had such a fun time together. I got some fantastic pictures and posted them over at flickr - here. I forget what we did Sunday - we left church because we don't like the woman who was preaching and went to get donuts and Dunkin' Donuts. Ellie and Frisco napped most of the day while Joe cleaned the cars and I did laundry. Then we got pizza and more ice cream. All in all, it was a very fun, relaxing weekend.

Okay, I should finish a few things before I can leave at 3. Wish me luck that Frisco is doing okay.
