Skipping Class
Dec. 30th, 2004 12:47 pmThis week, I paid $700 to attend a bar review class in preparation for the Bar Exam in July. My main goal in taking it now was to get ahead since the baby will be taking up a lot of my time in July.
The class has been pretty informative, but it's a pretty long 3 hours watching a video tape. Also, most of the lecture is contained in the test question answers. Today is my brother's last day here at my parent's house and I decided at the last moment to skip class. I'm feeling sort of bad about it, especially since it cost so much.
OTOH, the test isn't until July and this is a rare opportunity to hang out with my parents and my brother (the original 4 in our family, before bro and I got married). So, I decided to stay home. I think it's the right decision, but once again, I wish I could be one of those people that can blow stuff off without feeling wracked with guilt.
