Fun Weekend

This was such a fun weekend. We woke up Saturday morning and I made these "coffee cup coffee cakes" that someone had given us. They were really good and very filling. Once we were done with breakfast, we headed to the mall. This is a major undertaking because it takes us about an hour to get there. Anyway, we had lots of fun just looking around the mall. Ellie was pretty good and Joe and I had lots of fun being parents. We had dinner at this new salad restaurant. My salad was really good. The place was full of parents and babies/kids and that was fun.

Yesterday, we had brunch at the Pittsboro General Store. I had a great scone and yogurt with amazing granola and nuts. It was so good and very filling. Joe's breakfast was great also - huevos rancheros, but a sort of fusion version. We cam home and played with Ellie and watched March of the Penguins. Once Ellie went to bed, we finally got to see BSG from Friday night. In all, it was a fun, relaxing weekend.
