I am feeling so much better today. The amount of review I have to do still looms large, but at least it feels possible now.

I spent this morning watching the first 5 episodes of BtVs S6 and making flashcards. I made over 70 criminal law and criminal procedure cards and they seem to be helpful - both reviewing them and the process of making them. I feel like I could step into Law and Order and argue with Jack McCoy over what the person should have been charged with.

I also took about an hour snooze on the couch this morning and a 2 hour nap in bed this afternoon. The fact that I was able to sleep so long tells me that maybe I really do need to plan a nap back into my study schedule - especially if it will help me feel better.

I'm about to work on my 4 essay questions for the day. Oh, and today I bought a PC laptop on eBay. It cost me about $350, but these days if I can reduce stress by spending money, I'm doing it. Plus, I'll probably put it back up on eBay in 2 months after the exam.

On a totally different note, I saw a promo for Qaf S5 last night. It looks really good and I'm so excited for it to start. Thank goodness for Tivo since I'll miss a bunch of it. Even though the writers are fond of end-of-season break-ups, I'm hoping that the series will end with everyone happily connected to the partner they are supposed to be with. I love happy endings and I'm hoping this is a show that will give me one.

Good for you! I can't imagine how you're doing it -- when I was in my third trimester, I was completely zoned all the time, daydreaming, napping, daydreaming about napping...

You're feeling good, though, I hope?

I actually do feel pretty good - as long as I don't let myself get too tired. I'm not used to tiring so quickly, so I sometimes push myself too hard. My midwife told me the other day that I'm probably the healthiest 3rd trimester patient that have. I'm not sure exactly what that means, but I've been really lucky so far - no complications or anything unusual.

I have a lot to do, but it's almost all from home. That has been working out pretty well because I spend no time getting from place to place and I don't have to get dressed (which is getting harder and harder since some of my clothes are starting not to fit anymore).

You're on the right track

Sounds like you are getting into a groove, with the scheduling naps (good idea) and making flash cards. Are you getting good sleep at night or do you have to take naps in order to make up for lost sleep?

You know, there is something about making flash cards that just *does it*. I think I'm going to buy a million cards at costco and follow in your example when I start Barbri.

About your previous post, I'm sorry to hear about your dad. My uncle had valve replacement surgery a couple of years ago. Assuming your father isn't taking steps to improve his edema (water retention), he might be lax 'cause he's in denial.. If only we could make the people we love take the proper steps to protect their health! Darn it.

Okay, keep up the good work! You're doing a great job.
