The So-Called Intensive Weekend

ste_noniIn the last four days, I have spent 24 hours talking about direct examination, cross examination, and closing arguments. I think in a few days, I will have recognized that this was a valuable experience. However, at the moment, I'm just tired. Tired of talking about Dan Jones the negligent liquor store clerk and James Wyatt the negligent driver. I guess I'd better get used to James Wyatt, though, because we will be talking about him for the rest of the semester.
We went to a new church with our neighbors this morning. Everyone was very friendly which I've now decided is just the way it is down here. The funny thing was that once we got there, we already knew two of the people there - the guy we bought our house from and a friend of a friend J met yesterday.
I think the best part of the day is yet to come. J and I are going to a cook out at the home of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
casperflea. It sounds like it will be lots of fun and I can't wait to meet some fellow b.org friends F2F.
