Just a quick note to tell the 1-2 people who might have noticed my absence that Ellie and I are in New Mexico visiting my parents. We are having a great time - Ellie has been so well behaved and a lot of fun to be around. She's been playing new games and learning new words. She and my parents are all enjoying each other's company. We will be here until next Friday and back home on Saturday. At some point, I want to post the highlights of the trip because it has been fun. Oh, and I love the West so much!

I remember you were preparing for this trip - how is Ellie at travelling these days? I was thinking of you guys today when I took Mal to the beach for the first time.

And I am SO JEALOUS of you being in NM!!!

It is so beautiful here! The weather is amazing - cool and rainy today (snow on the mountain!), but it's been so nice and fall-like for the rest of the trip.

I was thinking about you and Mal on the flight here. It was only 7 hours total, but still stressful and Ellie had her own seat. Actually, Ellie was good for 6 hours and 15 minutes, but for 45 minutes, she was "that baby" and I was "that mom" that everyone hates.
