Note to self:

Do not plan first day at gym for the morning after baby's shots.

Note to kid doctor giving the shots:

I realize you have to ask everyone certain questions about baby care and I promise I will try not to take them personally. However, if you are going to ask these questions, and you are going to make me wait for 90 minutes with a tired baby, please try to a) not look like you just rolled out of bed and b) remember that my baby is a girl. And next time, I want my regular doctor back.

Well, you know, she has such an androgynous name. @@...@@...@@

(Didn't know she was a girl? Ugh.)

The first 5 time he called her "he" I let it go. By the sixth, I corrected him. We had waited so long that I had put her clothes back on - a PINK shirt and her diaper was peach. @@

My son and daughter routinely got mistaken for the opposite sex. Even when they were past one and two years old, respectively. Maybe it was the fact we didn't cut Jesse's hair until he was a little more than one year old. It's not like I dressed him in pink, which I did my daughter. *shrugs* Who knows. People = crack.

With "Mallory" I cut them some slack. With "Elizabeth," nsm. (Although I'm done with the slack-cutting since I see the same NP every time).

Um, wait...did Ellie get a full checkup with the shots? I mean, was her diaper off?
