Rainy Monday

casperflea. Got to meet fellow buffistas mearagrrl, calligrafiti, and amyth71. Also got to meet Mr. flea and baby Casper, who is adorable. And she has really cool blocks.
ION, it's pouring rain here and has been all night. I ran by the lake (that's generous. make that , pond) this morning and the water was pretty close to the edge of the road. It looks like if it rises another foot or so, it will cover the road. I've heard from the neighbors this happens occasionally and then you are trapped on whatever side you are on until water level goes back down.
My first class is today. I should be reading, but true to form, I think I'm going to watch Bend It Like Beckham again before I open any books. i just can't read any more at the moment.
