Well, I know it's Saturday because Joe and I both woke up around 6 (after going to bed at 8:30!) and decided to watch BSG. It was so good. I might write more about TV alter, but for now, I'll just say it was worth getting up at 6 for. Anyway, now it feels like a work day because Joe has gone to the base to roast some coffee. The good thing is that he took the dogs with him, so I don't have to walk them.

I've been running the past two days - using my cool new jogging stroller that i got for Christmas. I love this stroller so much! I'd really been balking at spending so much, but the price went down just before Christmas because it's the end of the year. So I ordered it and I love it! I can really run with it, which was important to me. Plus it has lots of cool stuff to keep Ellie safe and warm.

The bad thing about my new stroller is that I may have overdone it with the running. I've been going to the gym since October, but I hadn't run since September, 2004! I've been dying to get back to running, so I started on Thursday. Well, it felt great and the stroller worked well, but my body definitely wasn't ready for it. I've been walking the uphills (I run on the golf course and it has lots of hills) and running the flat and downhill sections. After two days, I am so sore get down on the floor with Ellie or stand up. Plus, the stupid ligaments in my pubic bone are telling me to slow down. It doesn't exactly hurt, but I can feel twinges. So, this weekend, it's walking only and hopefully I'll be back to running on Monday.

Yay for getting back to running! I'm hoping to get back to the gym this morning. I've been out since the trouble with the asthma. I really want to get back and see if that with the new diet can do some damage to the weight-gain.

Take it easy, though. We want you in one piece :).

Good for you for running again, but please go easy.

I have a friend who's a runner and she said the best money she ever spent was on a good jogging stroller.

Take it easy! But enjoy it!
