I think House is my new favorite show. Or close to favorite. I like it a lot. The show itself is sort of formulaic, but the character of House is so interesting that I look forward to watching.

I have some questions...

Why does he have a cane? Is it House or the actor?

What's his past relationship with the lawyer? Were they married?

Was he also involved with the cute doctor who works for him?

Anything else I should know?

I'll have to check these out. I can sort of tell from his facial expressions in House that HL might be good at comedy, but it is difficult to imagine.

To give you an idea, my mental image of Hugh Laurie is usually this, this, or this.

House being this complete genius makes it all the more amusing, because the most memorable characters he's played in the past have all been quite, quite dim.
