More on the Movers

The house is now about 60% packed. There is no way it will take them until all day tomorrow. They will probably be done today. While this is good, I guess, it makes the planning part of me frustrated. We could have had it all done Monday and had Ellie's party at our house. Plus, it's not like our stuff is going to arrive any faster since they won't take it away until Monday or Tuesday.

I know, first world problems and all.

Ugh. I hate when stuff like that changes.

Of course, when my parents moved out here, it took THREE DAYS to pack up the house. And I think it was supposed to take a day and a half. They were SO freaking slow.

Here's another first world frustration - LJ is not sending me e-mails when I get comments. I was feeling like no one cared this morning, only to find lots of comments. Hrmph....

Three days is a long time. Once, in Brazil, it took them 4 days, but we lived in a condo and everything had to go downstairs by elevator. They had 10 guys - 4 packing and three at each end of the elevator.

And, boy that condo moving situation sounds like a nightmare.
