Kids and TV
Aug. 26th, 2008 10:35 amI just finished a phone interview for UNC. They started asking me stuff back when I was pregnant with Ellie and have continued even though they can no longer do home visits. Anyway, it got me to wondering how much TV kids really watch. So, if you don't mind sharing, I'm curious how much TV your kids watch, if you are a parent.
Since I'm asking, I'll start. Ellie averages maybe 1-1.5 hours a day. Mostly she watches TV when we get home and I'm getting dinner ready and when I'm putting Frisco to bed but that averages about 1.5 hours, I think. On the weekends, it is realistically more like 2-2.5 hours. She almost never watches our TV shows with us, so about 95% of what she is watching is Little Einsteins, Mickey Mouse, Dora, and maybe Handy Manny and Bunnytown. And pretty much any Pixar movie.
