Where will we be living?

So, the big deal three start general just asked Joe to stay here, probably for three more years. I would be okay with it bit Colorado is like the promised land for us. And how do I tell my mom wee aren't going. Bit there is no chance of deployment if we stay. The job would be less stressful. The kids could stay at the daycare I love. I could keep working here.

But I really really want to be in Colorado. I love that place. And I so was looking forward to Panera, Trader Joe, mom nearby, mountains, and the rest

No, this is unusual. It's only happening because Joe has done such a good job here but it's still hard to adjust to.

Dude. No one should have as much whiplash as you guys have WRT to next assignment! Yikes. I hope you're both happy with how it finally plays out. Sounds like there are plusses to either place - may you get the one with the most!

NOOOOOOOOO! I was so excited about you coming back to Colorado :-( I guess the question is whether Joe wants the job he's offered in PR? Without the concern of deployment, where would you choose to live?

Oh, we totally choose Colorado. There are some down sides to Colorado but they are all ones we can live with. I just don't want to feel like I was the one that made Joe not take a job he really wanted. All things being equal, my vote is for CO but we just have to wait and see.
