We got an offer on our house today and after some negotiation, I think we have a deal. I don't want to go into details because it's not final yet, but we are happy that the end is in sight. We will pay one more mortgage payment and we were planning on that anyway.
We sign the contract on the rental house this afternoon at 5:00pm. It's been a big day for us in house-related stuff.
Last night we had dinner with some new friends. It was a lot of fun and the food was great. Ellie loved all the dogs (their three plus our two) and spent the night walking between me at the table and the gate where the dogs were.
Today we drove to El Yunque National Forest. It's a beautiful rainforest and we saw some beautiful waterfalls and views. Also, I had a surprisingly good cheeseburger for lunch in the park.
