Moving!

We move out of the hotel tomorrow! Joe has finished the floors (pulling up super ugly carpet and putting down fake wood laminate. It looks really nice!) in two of the three bedrooms and he's working on the third right now. Apparently the landlords hooked us up with a giant air conditioner on the main floor. I plan to run that thing 24/7. (Well, for the first month at least until I see how much it costs.)

I have ordered the pool safety stuff and it should be here in a week or two. I'll have to watch Ellie carefully until then. I've set-up an account for broadband, but no idea when it will be installed (a week hopefully). We may be off line until then since there's no phone in the house.

So, move in tomorrow. Furniture on the 12th. Parents arrive on the 15th. We will paint Ellie's room and maybe the guest bedroom over the weekend. I'm so excited to have a real house!

eta: Oh, and can I just say how cool it is to want wood floors and have someone just do it for you? I was married but alone for so long I'm just not used to having someone else around to help. I've told Joe thank you about he million times. He says it's his "job" to do this stuff and he likes it and I don't have to say thank you, but I'm still saying it because I'm so happy I don't have to do it all myself.
