Graduation
May. 21st, 2005 06:21 amI made it! I'm leaving the hotel soon to head to my law school graduation ceremony. I wasn't all that excited (because, huge bar exam still waiting for me) but trying on my robes last night was really cool and made me a little excited. I dig the long hood I get to wear.
It's also been great to be back in Colorado and see my friends. I love the mountains and I hadn't realized how much I better I feel here. There's just something about Colorado that makes me feel like I belong here. And I've had a chance to catch up with some friends which has been wonderful. And, I got to see a bunch of aunts, uncles, and cousins last which was also really cool.

Date: 2005-05-21 03:15 pm (UTC)It's probably at least partially the air quality that makes you feel better there. NC has the most diverse and the largest amount of plant allergens of any state in the union, plus the air here is usually humid, so whatever's airborne--including industrial and agricultural pollutants--tends to stick around.

As much as I expect to stay out east and love it in its own way, the mountain west is where my heart is.
