She told me she didn't do actual matting and neither did her lab that prints the photos. But sometime in the intervening two week between when I ordered and then received my pictures, apparently the lab started offering real matting. So she picked out six pictures of Sammy and had them printed and placed in the newly offered collage frame/matte.
So the collage/digital matte she gave me looks like crap (to me) and what I asked for, but wasn't available at the time supposedly, is now hanging on her wall.
