Joe and I are going to see Serenity tonight. I am so excited! I think this might be the first movie I've seen in a theater in almost a year. We are going to see the 9:45 showing. This is normally way late for us, but it's all part of the "Movie with Baby" plan. I'm going to give her her bath at 8:30 like normal, but then we are going to get in the car and drive to the theater. We should be there by 9:15 and then I'll nurse her there and I'm sure she will sleep. I know it will be loud, but she settles back down pretty quickly, especially when nursing.
As for my TV watching, nothing but disappointment so far (spoilers):
I don't believe for one minute that Vaughn is dead. Unless they don't want Vartan back for some reason. I just find the whole "Vaughn has been keeping a big secret" storyline even more unbelievable than usual for Alias. Also, I sort of have a problem with babies in TV drama. I know Garner is pregnant (much like Charisma was pregnant) but it seems so often that the "baby" is used as a huge plot device and never really a character. Why can't someone have a baby on TV and not have something horrible happen to the baby? Maybe I'm just too close to the whole baby thing.
Take what I said about Alias and multiply it by ten (even the baby part!). This show is boring for 50 minutes and then something exciting happens in the last 5 to make you want to come back next week. I'm fed up with feeling jerked around. Especially since it now conflicts with Veronica Mars.
VM:
I missed it, but my Tivo is set to pick it up on Sunday. I (stupidly) agreed to watch Lost with Joe. Then he was working, but I was already sort of trapped with Ellie, so I just watched it. Won't happen again...

Hope the movie viewing went well.
