I was essentially a single parent just for a few months, relocating between continents with a toddler. Drove me bonkers.
Mostly, I took her with me everywhere, and slept when I could. And Jo was an extremely mellow kid. I have no idea who someone with a high-maintenance, attention-hungry kid handles it, without backup.
