It's never been this much of a challenge before. I get frustrated because Ellie's frustrated and crying/whining and I can't get even what she wants done. But she's napping now - yay!
I love that icon - I often think about that moment of Buffy when I'm trying to explain to people how I felt just before Ellie was born. My world was reduced to just me.
Okay, that memory has cheered me up quite a bit. :)
I was essentially a single parent just for a few months, relocating between continents with a toddler. Drove me bonkers.
Mostly, I took her with me everywhere, and slept when I could. And Jo was an extremely mellow kid. I have no idea who someone with a high-maintenance, attention-hungry kid handles it, without backup.
