Happy Birthday Kristin and Maria!! I didn't know you guys share the same birthday, but I did used to get you confused in my head. Of course, not anymore so I wish you each, individually, a happy birthday.

In mememe news, I haven't heard from my husband in three days. I know he's alive and unhurt because if he was dead or injured, they would come tell me. Still, I worry about him.

Normally, the dogs and I walk a long walk on Saturday mornings. Today, however, instead of doing that or folding the clean laundry or washing the dirty dishes or anything else that needs to be done, we are having pancakes for breakfast and watching Shakespeare in Love. It's one of my favorite romantic movies and one of the few that Joe likes and will watch with me, when he's around. Since I'm missing him today and Valentine's Day is just around the corner, it seems like a good use of my Saturday morning.

Oh, so many hugs. I can only imagine how hard this is for you. My DH is only in Iraq a few days each year, and that's enough to make me worry incessently; you are so strong to be making it through this.
