Christmas very seriously. For you, it is a
religious festival, celebrating the birth of
the Saviour, and its current secularisation
really irritates you. You enjoy the period of

I do love Christmas and I do think it's about the birth of Jesus (even if it didn't actually happen on this particular day), but I'm not going to church this Advent (although that makes me a little sad) and I happen to like the "current secularization." I don't mind being reminded of a holiday that I enjoy.
