Lunch

I had such a nice time at lunch today with [livejournal.com profile] smonsterbite, [livejournal.com profile] amyth71, [livejournal.com profile] gchick, [livejournal.com profile] casperflea and Casper. It was nice to get out of the house and the company was great. Ellie and Casper were adorable in their purpleness. (I could write more but as the parent of the purple munchkinm it might be obnoxious. Instead, I merely second everything [livejournal.com profile] gchick said.) As usual, when hanging out with b.org types, the time flew and before I knew it, it was time to go.

ION, Ellie now has had spots of blood in her diapers 4 out of the last 5 days. I'm not going to even bother asking the nurse tomorrow - we are going in to see the pediatrician. Yes she is acting fine, but that's too much blood where it shouldn't be for too many days. I'm not worried exactly, but I want to know what is going on and I want it to stop.

Eep. I hope she's okay.

I support you in your decision. If it is something harmless, let them prove and explain it (and it most likely is, but blood isn't something to blow of she says, after two months of worrying about blood where it shouldn't be).

Is she otherwise acting herself?

Yeah, she's acting like herself. It's just that after 4 out of the last 5 days, I'm ready for some answers. I've made a list of everything and I'll take it with me tomorrow.

I hope the doctor reassures you. She did seem very well indeed today (and cute as the dickens, bien sur.)

No fair hoarding the cute!

Mal had blood a few times also when he started solid food, but as it was coupled with constipation and was intermittent, I had a good idea why it was there. I hope it's something equally as trivial and transitory for Ellie.

Good luck at the ped today. I hope it's innocuous and merely annoying.

We've only had that one time and it was in conjunction with constipation. Still, blood=scary.
